GCS Malta is seeking an Accounts Supervisor to work with one of Malta’s leading financial companies. The chosen candidate will be responsible for overseeing operations and supervising a team, managing a portfolio of clients, handling accountancy, payroll and VAT, as well as developing accounting policies.

Your Responsibilities

• Overseeing operations and supervising the team
• Managing a portfolio of clients
• Responding to client’s enquiries and requests
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships
• Handling accountancy, payroll and VAT
• Developing and implementing accounting policies
• Providing assistance and liaising with other departments
• Ensuring the organisation is adhering to policies and procedures

Required Skills

The individual must be professional and proactive with exceptional communication and organisational skills. One must also be capable of managing a team and working to tight deadlines. Fluency in the English language is considered a must. Knowledge in the Maltese language or any additional languages is considered a plus.

Qualifications and Experience

If you are in possession of a Master’s in Accounting and / or are fully ACCA or ACA qualified, with previous working experience of at least 3 years within a similar role, then this one’s for you! Sound knowledge of IFRS and GAPSME reporting standards is a must.
