Senior Officer - Strategy & Quality Assurance

GCS Malta is seeking to recruit a Senior Officer – Strategy & Quality Assurance to work with a local public agency.
Your Responsibilities
- Engaging with internal sections to support and implement strategic objectives
- Keeping the strategy updated in line with developments
- Conducting quality assurance reviews of policies, procedures, and operations
- Assisting in drafting test plans for assessments
- Documenting findings, observations, and recommendations with supporting evidence
- Following up on the implementation of recommendations and corrective actions
- Supporting the effectiveness of the risk management framework
- Participating in relevant conferences, seminars, workshops, and committees
- Providing ad
- hoc assistance for evaluations, assessments, or studies by international bodies
- Performing other duties as delegated by senior leadership
Required Skills
Preference is given to candidates with experience in audit or quality assurance roles, demonstrating a proven record of competence, efficiency, and diligence. This role requires strong organizational, communication and analytical skills with a proactive approach.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate must possess an MQF 6 qualification relevant to the position, coupled with 4 years’ experience in AML/CFT, preferably within the financial service and/or an MQF Level 5 qualification in and at least 5 years of work experience relevant to the position.
