GCS Malta is seeking a Junior Executive – Payroll & Administration to work with one of Malta’s leading financial companies. The chosen candidate will be reporting to the HR Executive or HR Manager.
Your Responsibilities
- Processing accurate and timely payroll in compliance with Maltese law
- Verifying timesheets, leave, and adjustments
- Maintaining payroll records and calculating wages, deductions, and bonuses
- Handling employee payroll queries and assisting with audits and reports
- Preparing tax filings and year
- end payroll documentation
- Coordinating with HR and finance on employee data and policy updates
- Ensuring secure payroll data storage and suggesting process improvements
Required Skills
This role requires experience with payroll software and systems, particularly Shireburn indigo software. String communication, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work within a team. Fluency in the English languages is considered a must, along with proficiency in using Microsoft office applications.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a Certificate or Diploma (MQF Level 5) or have knowledge in Employment Law and/or an HR-related qualification. A minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration is considered an asset.
