Manufacturing Manager

GCS Malta is looking for a Manufacturing Manager to work with one of Malta’s leading consumer goods companies.

Your Responsibilities

• • Overseeing manufacturing sites and mentoring site management. • Developing talent through structured training programs. • Identifying skill gaps and leading improvement initiatives. • Ensuring production plan adherence and on
• time delivery. • Driving KPI improvements (OEE, labour, efficiency). • Leading Lean, 5S, Kaizen, and CI programs. • Managing cost optimisation and resource utilisation. • Ensuring compliance with OHSE and company policies. • Leading digitalisation, ERP integration, and workflow automation. • Standardising data for reporting and continuous improvement

Required Skills

Applicants should have experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in developing KPIs and measuring efficiency. Familiarity with supply chain operational excellence and 5S methodology is essential, while Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus. The role also requires strong numerical and data management skills, along with experience in developing procedures. Strong decision-making, analytical and teamwork skills are essential within this role.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field, with at least 15 years of experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior management role within production and supply planning in the food industry or a similar manufacturing sector.
