GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Analyst in Financial Systems to work with a leading bank in Malta.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing monthly accounts and budget variance analysis.
• Preparing reports for EXCO and Board.
• Ensuring timely submission of financial reports.
• Resolving team queries and financial issues.
• Supporting external financial reporting and audits.
• Compiling financial analytics and stakeholder reports.
• Formalizing and updating financial policies.
• Overseeing internal audits and regulatory reviews.
• Providing financial data to internal departments.
• Driving process improvements and automation.
• Strengthening internal controls and ledger integrity.
• Assisting with regulatory reporting.
• Leading projects and handling ad
• hoc tasks.

Required Skills

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work under pressure and stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends is essential within this role.

Qualifications and Experience

The chosen candidate must possess an MQF Level 6 Degree in Accounting, with at least 4 years experience in financial services, ideally in accounting, audit or a related field.
