GCS Malta is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join one of Malta's leading restaurants.

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitoring beverage costs and budgeted gross profit achievement.
  • Managing payroll, staff rotation, and restaurant cleaning schedules.
  • Training and developing department staff in restaurant procedures.
  • Maintaining operational standards in the absence of the F&B Manager.
  • Ensuring effective daily communication with relevant departments.
  • Collaborating with the F&B Manager on menu implementation.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and food hygiene policies.
  • Assisting other departments during peak times as needed.
  • Adhering to restaurant policies and procedures for regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate should know food and beverage operations well, including supervising staff, service techniques, and interacting with guests. Proficiency in written and verbal English communication, along with computer literacy, is essential.

Qualifications and Experience

The chosen candidate should possess a valid food handling license along with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a managerial role or similar is considered an asset.
