GCS Malta is looking for an experienced Category Manager to work with one of Malta's leading FMCG companies. The Category Manager will be responsible for meeting the company's sales and profitability goals while boosting market position. S/He will develop and implement effective sales plans and strategies for the assigned brands.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with suppliers to develop joint sales plans aimed at targeted growth.
• Ensure sales and marketing teams adhere to brand guidelines.
• Secure budgets from suppliers and manage internal fund allocation.
• Provide sales teams with the necessary resources for seamless execution of sales plans.
• Drive bottom
• line results through accurate forecasting and budget management.
• Oversee category budget management and expenditures.
• Place orders with suppliers and accurately forecast stock on
• hand.

Required Skills

One must possess strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, coupled with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, and be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluency in both Maltese and English is a must.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must have a University Degree or equivalent in a business-related subject, with 2-3 years in a similar commercial or business management role.
