GCS Malta is looking for a Project Manager to work with one of Malta's leading companies within hospitality and entertainment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Overseeing all phases of the construction project, from design and planning to execution and completion
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive project plan
  • Managing the project budget meticulously, overseeing cost forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control mechanisms
  • Ensuring strict compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards
  • Facilitating effective communication among clients, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact project timelines, budget, or quality
  • Overseeing the procurement process
  • Providing regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders, offering transparent updates and strategic recommendations

Required Skills

One must have exceptional leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing a diverse workforce. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost management is a must. Also, one must have excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.

Qualifications and Experience

The chosen candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field; Master's degree will be preferred. At least 10 years of proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, with a portfolio demonstrating successful project delivery is required.
