Cost Controller

GCS Malta is looking for a Cost Controller to work with a group of companies within the hospitality industry.

Your Responsibilities

  • Determining appropriate pricing
  • Monitoring inventory levels of stock
  • Investigating cost discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
  • Providing regular reports and analyzing cost performance to management
  • Monitoring waste and developing strategies to minimize it
  • Identifying opportunities for recycling and waste reduction initiatives
  • Analyzing sales data and identifying high margin items

Required Skills

Proficiency in using inventory management software preferably in Materials Control, Simphony POS and MS Excel. One must have excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Qualifications and Experience

The chosen candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing inventory in a Food & Beverage environment. Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role is required.
