Senior Sales Executive

GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join a leading hospitality group in Malta. The chosen candidate will be reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Manager.

Your Responsibilities

  • Reviewing quotes and addressing other requests related to the leisure group
  • Following up on what stock has been sold
  • Assessing demand for the hotels
  • Supervising the Sales Coordinators when it comes to the timely replies to queries either by potential guests or existing bookers in relation to products that are seasonally advertised
  • Being familiar with all the hotels services
  • Conducting daily overviews, reviewing the daily tasks, meetings as well as taking the opportunity to address any queries raised by the Sales Coordinators
  • Managing staff performance in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Mentoring, directing and assisting the Sales Coordinators
  • Assisting in greeting, meeting, and hosting existing or new prospective customers
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
  • On a yearly basis, together with other Sales teams, assisting in creating a sales target

Required Skills

The individual should be fluent in English and Maltese with the ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Experience

One must have strong organisational and analytical skills, and capable of sharing feedback and any ideas across multiple departments. Other such as listening, interpersonal, and phone skills are a must.
