Internal Compliance Executive

GCS Malta is looking for an Internal Compliance Executive to work with one of Malta's leading financial companies. The Compliance Executive will report to the MLRO & AML Compliance Manager.

Your Responsibilities

• Undertaking customer onboarding due diligence and overseeing ongoing monitoring of transactions
• Providing internal support to the entities within the Group
• Assisting the Group MLRO In the fulfilment of the relevant AML/CFT obligations
• Reviewing customer files and updating of information
• Carrying out searches, screening, and customer risk assessments
• Providing support and assisting in the internal coordination of regulatory examinations
• AML/CFT training to employees of the Group, associated firms, and clients of the Group

Required Skills

One must be able to work with minimal supervision, to be able to prioritize and deliver quality work within tight time frames. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are a must.

Qualifications and Experience

The chosen candidate must have a university degree or equivalent qualification in a related field with at least 2 years' experience in an AML/CFT role.
