GCS Malta is looking for a Finance Analyst to join an international high-tech company. The chosen candidate will be providing day to day finance support in preparing and delivering management accounts.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing daily accounting functions including ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded and filed
• Management of cash including payments and receipts
• Maintaining and reconciling the General Ledger
• Performing month end and year end closing procedures
• Assisting on the monthly payroll
• Assisting on VAT returns and other tax compliance
• Providing support on business improvement projects
• Assisting during the internal and external audit

Required Skills

One must be proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent attention to detail, and good problem-solving approach is required. Additionally, one must be able to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

Qualifications and Experience

The chosen candidate must be actively studying ACCA or equivalent and have at least 3 years of working experience in a similar position. Previous experience in Oracle accounting system is considered an asset.
