Accounts Clerk

GCS Malta is looking for an Accounts Clerk to work with one of Malta’s leading catering companies. The chosen candidate will assist the Accounts department and general office duties.

Your Responsibilities

  • Posting of purchases invoices
  • Liaising with suppliers via email/telephone in relation to any issues concerning purchases invoices
  • Ensuring that all invoices have the proper authorisation prior to these being processed
  • Organizing documents and filling of the accounts payable
  • Ensuring to always keep proper documentation and an adequate filing procedure relating to creditors’ invoices / credit notes
  • Other administration tasks as may be required from time to time

Required Skills

One must be self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment and work under pressure. The ability to communicate in both English and Maltese is required.

Qualifications and Experience

The chosen candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar environment with sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
