General Cashier

GCS Malta is looking for a General Cashier to work with one of Malta's leading companies within hospitality and entertainment.

Your Responsibilities

• Reconciling daily cash transactions for the company's outlets and ensuring accurate balance of Front Office cash returns
• Post bank and cash transactions in the accounting system, and preparing bank deposits and accurately record deposits in the system
• Managing the petty cash and recording expenses in the accounting software
• Reconciling bank statements and system postings
• Performing general administration duties as required

Required Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is required. One must have good organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications and Experience

The chosen candidate must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role. IT proficiency especially in Word and Excel is considered a must.
