Manufacturing Technician

GCS Malta is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to work with one of Malta’s leading consumer goods companies.

Your Responsibilities

• Handling the running of plant machinery and equipment
• Assisting in the documentation of any installations effected
• Taking an active part in electrical and mechanical installations of machinery and equipment
• Testing related machinery and equipment after repair for efficiency and ensuring proper running
• Ensuring that procedures are in line with company standards
• Safekeeping of equipment assigned
• Ensuring that PPE is worn according to the task being performed
• Building and maintaining good working relationships with all stakeholders
• Taking responsibility in the absence of Senior Technician

Required Skills

One must have technical insight in a complex manufacturing environment while being experienced with GMP, ISO Standards, Safe Food Handling, HACCP practices and HSE guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must be in possession of a Diploma or Higher National Diploma in Engineering and have 2 years' experience in a food/ pharmaceutical/ chemical manufacturing working environment.
