Sales and Customer Executive

GCS Malta is looking for a Sales and Customer Executive to work with one of Malta’s leading insurance group of companies.

Your Responsibilities

• Providing the highest level of sales and customer service experience to all clients, regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, and age, and ensuring that the actions taken are in the clients’ best interest
• Assisting in the servicing of walk in customers, including intermediaries by providing information, advice, quotations, updating and amending of client details, as well as administering processes as appropriate with regards to surrenders, maturities, payments of death benefits, revised Estimate
• Maturity Values, top ups, switches, valuation of Unit Linked policies and payment of premiums
• Servicing and handling of calls, electronic mails, and customer complaints from all company clients as well as walk in customers
• Processing customer requests by amending the customer/policy records accordingly, issuing and sending appropriate paperwork
• Applying, where so delegated, discretionary authority to mitigate a serious customer relationship breakdown situation by offering redress compensation
• Verifying the identity of the customer in accordance with procedure on customer identification and logging all calls in a call centre database
• Carrying out of pro active marketing of products as well as surveys on the phone
• Actively following up with clients of maturing policies with a view to attracting reinvestments
• Assisting with work related to receipt and process payment from walk in customers
• Carrying out end of day reconciliation of cash and cheques received at Regional Office
• Assisting with work related to the improvement of performance and efficiency by proposing technology, software and workflow between the Regional Office and the supporting units within the company as well as its intermediaries and more

Required Skills

Current reading for a tertiary qualification or a professional qualification is considered an asset.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience working in the insurance industry.
