Senior Audit Associate

GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Audit Associate to work with a local assurance firm.

Your Responsibilities

• Overseeing client audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Implementing accounting principles and reporting standards for financial statements.
• Understanding the client's business operations.
• Collaborating with client management to collect data, address issues, and suggest process enhancements.

Required Skills

The role requires balancing profiles, adapting quickly, being detail-oriented, handling confidential information with integrity, and showing strong organizational skills. Fluency in written and spoken English and Maltese is required, whilst proficiency in using Microsoft office applications is essential.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must be fully ACCA qualified or equivalent, with at least 3 years of experience working within an Audit team is considered an asset.
