Senior Client Accounting Associate

GCS Malta is looking for a Senior Client Accounting Associate to work with a local assurance firm.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing the preparation, updating, and finalization of accounting data.
• Processing both technical and non
• technical data in accounting systems.
• Preparing and submitting personal tax returns.
• Handling the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
• Compiling management Accounts and Trial Balances.
• Maintaining and updating cash back.
• Managing the maintenance of accounting journals.
• Liaising with regulatory and supervisory authorities.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate excels at managing priorities, adapts quickly to change, is detail-oriented, handles confidential information with integrity, and is self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Fluency in written and spoken English and Maltese is required, whilst proficiency in using Microsoft office applications is essential.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must be in possession of a University Degree in Accounting or an ACCA qualification, whilst work experience in an accounting team is considered an asset.
