GCS Malta is seeking to recruit an Analytical Assistant to work with a local public agency.

Your Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Maintaining information management systems.
  • Updating computerized and paper
  • based records.
  • Organizing events such as workshops, seminars, and training courses. Providing general administrative support to section staff.
  • Managing documents, including data entry, scanning, and filing.
  • Screening and addressing telephone calls and inquiries.
  • Coordinating with the Corporate Services Section for staff travel arrangements.
  • Contributing to and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Director, Deputy Director, Head, Senior Manager, or Manager.

Required Skills

Strong communication, writing and organizational skills are essential within this role. Fluency in both written and spoken Maltese and English is required, whilst proficiency in using Microsoft office applications is a must.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate should have an MQF Level 4 qualification and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a school leaving certificate with at least 5 years of related experience. Preference will be given to those with qualifications in administrative and secretarial duties or demonstrated experience in a similar role.
